We continue our tour photos picking up on the drive to Phoenix, Arizona.

A Pennsylvania hillbilly like Dave never saw such a strange tree like this before! Dave insists on taking a picture next to the strange tree.

"OUCH! This ain't no PINE TREE Damnit!"

Dave quickly learns about giant cactus.

Next it was on to the Rhythm Room.

Gabriel's steel guitar has 16 strings, 7 pedals and 4 knee levers.

Since Mike Medina flew home the night before the band called in former Gin Palace Jesters' drummer (how many of these are there anyway?) and recent Phoenix transplant and longtime friend Perry Lafine. Perry did a great job sitting in for the night and Dave was happy to see an old chum. Thanks Perry!

Robert Big Sandy Williams made the trek across the desert to see the group play again and the band could not resist getting him up on stage one more time to sing a couple of numbers. Thanks Robert!

Dave and Gabriel pose for a photo in Phoenix.

During the west coast trip the band covered over 7,000 miles and when these two weren't driving, playing or talking to people they'd sleep...sometimes in the van. Here Dave goes to the floor and Katie gets some shut eye in the back seat.

Tony Estrada - Star Mountain Dreamers - El Paso, Texas. A true energetic talent!

The music is so good Dave can't resist showing off his Charlston moves in the upstairs changing area. Look at him GO!

After driving across Texas at 91 MPH the band ended up in Austin, Texas to play a nice low key gig at the Parlor.

Ken pulls out "the WHEEL" and another satisfied customer gives it a spin in hopes of lucky prizes!

Some noted musicians congregate in the corner, drummer Bobby Trimball and Joey Simeone from the Bellfuries flank Shaun Young. Someone said Glen Carbon was there and going to sing but he was never actually seen.

The Gin Palace Jesters can't resist getting Shaun Young up to sing a couple songs.

The Horton Brothers - Bobby and Billy were there too and soon got drafted to entertain. Thanks to all the Austin folks who came out to support the Gin Palace Jesters.

The next day it was off to San Antonio, Texas where an on air interview was arranged at KSYM.

In this picture you can see members of the band with their newest road manager Colonel Wayne Payne in the back.

Broadcasting Gin Palace Jesters music over the ENTIRE Third Coast Music Network!

Dave autographs a guitar for charity.

Radio interviews done it's off to the Limelight to honkytonk it up.

Gabriel and Ken flank new friend Alex who drove from Dallas to see the Gin Palace Jesters. Thanks Alex.

This photo is remarkable because at the 10th day in Dave finally trusted Gabriel enough to let him have the REMOTE CONTROL!

Next it was off to the Blue Note in Oklahoma City.

They had fine neon so it's worth two pictures.

They were very hospitable and said, "Take what you need" so Ken did take just a FEW essential items.

Replenished from all the Bourbon, the group put on a good show following the local Brian Dunning outfit.

After the show Dave was tired.

So was Katie.

The FINAL night of the run was at Beale On Broadway in St. Louis, Missouri. Here Dave plays the owners Silvertone guitar. Cool!

Colonel Wayne Payne in his debonair shark skin western suit.

Exhausted and satisfied, the group poses for a group "IT'S OVER" picture.

Now it's time to drink!

Thanks a heap to Jake Erwin for filling in for Casey for the whole two week run. We hope to see you soon Jake!

We ALSO thank ALL the fine folks who came out to support the Gin Palace Jesters on our tour and the club owners and promoters who helped us along the way. Thank you! We hope to be back in your neighborhood again soon.
